This weekend marked a turning point in my life: the first of my best friends got married. Rebecca White married John Schaeffer in a nice, small ceremony in Newburyport, Massachusetts. From a photographic standpoint, this image is a mess in both exposure and processing, but it’s actually one of the few I managed to get of Becky and John before the 5-hour open bar consumed me (and all my friends, I might add). And despite my best efforts to ruin everything by eclipsing the dozen mark for drinks, the weekend was great and Becky seemed genuinely happy (and relieved). So: Congratulations Becky and John Schaeffer!!! My best wishes to both of you in the future! And feel free to leave comments for Becky on this image’s comment section; I’m proud to say Becky is a regular viewer.
Becky, you looked beautiful, and I’m so happy for you. To use your own words, it was pretty ”f-ing wierd” but in the best way possible. Tulls, I love this photo because of the sense of energy in the shot, well done! It was great to see you both!
