At about 8PM Eastern Time on Saturday evening, my father got the feeling he should take a look outside the house and was treated to this view. Unbeknownst to him, at about that same moment, my mom’s mother, one of the most important people in our family, passed away. As it is impossible for me to make my way back east to be with my family, it seemed to be the least I could do to post this image and let my family, and especially my mom, know that my grandmother Sylvia Donovan is in our thoughts and prayers. She was an amazingly caring and wonderfully selfless woman, and we all love her more than words can express. Many thanks to my dad for sharing this image.
