Tidepooling in the Rain

This is another shot from the Juan de Fuca trail. This was on day three, as we trekked across the tidepools on West Sombrio beach. We were blessed with a short respite from the rain, enough that I could take out a camera and shoot a few images. Even with the rain, this section was among the prettiest hiking trails I’ve ever encountered.

I just got a hold of this song, and I’ve been listening to it constantly for the last day or so. Sam Beam has a gift for beautiful folk songs, and this is no exception. It’s actually more layered than most of his other stuff that I enjoy… highly recommended. Especially for Becky and Annie…
