The Santa Ana winds and the wildfires on the mainland have turned our clean ocean air into smoke and ash, but it has made the sun look pretty outrageous lately. This is the sun setting over Shark Harbor as Dai Mar catches a quick ride.
Song of the Day: Sigur Ros - Hljomalind
I have loved this song for a long time, even though Sigur Ros had never recorded a version of it. I had a live bootleg, and was so excited to see that they sat down in the studio and reworked it. This is a track from the band’s upcoming film, which should be pretty beautiful both to the eyes and ears.
Yeah, the fires have been really crazy and scary. But that’s an amazing shot.
Awesome capture, impressed you were able to keep the shutter speed high enough in the low light to keep the detail sharp.
