The Fortress

I got some free time this weekend, and took a trip to Salzburg, Austria. I took a ton of shots, with mostly pretty mediocre results. Anyway, this is the first shot of Salzburg that I am presenting. It is shot out of the window of one of the towers in the Festung Hohensalzburg or High Salzburg Fortress. It was a pretty amazing place. Very cool to see the evolution of the fortress and the various rooms and artifacts that are preserved.

i really like the side walls and the tones there….you could elimnate the window entirely and have a rad painting like presentation with that.
