The Empty Dock

Boats below the Granville Bridge in Vancouver, BC. I wish I’d spent more time taking pictures around this area, because there was no shortage of subjects and perspectives.

Song of the Day: Band of Horses - The General Specific
Band of Horses has yet to make a song that won’t get stuck in your head. This song, The General Specific, is no exception. A beautiful melody hides soaring harmonies over a steady rhythmic background, and Ben Bridwell’s vocals are stunning, as usual. I give my highest recommendations for this song - I’d be surprised if anyone who downloaded it didn’t find themselves humming along.

Unique vantage point has created a unique image too. Nice with the inclusion of the flag too. Humming now.

Very ’colourful’ image, even in B+W.

Great composition; the way the hillside curves really directs your eye toward the elephant...
