My apologies for the long break, which has been happening all too often. However, the wildfire was a good excuse, as was the fact that my computer called it quits on Sunday. I just got it fixed and am now back up and running.

Anyway, after our evacuation, we spent a week in the mountains of Idyllwild. We formed a core group of adventurers that attempted to take full advantage of the different excursions available in the mountains. One of our escapades was hiking and scrambling to the top of Tahquitz Rock (also known as Lily Rock), a beautiful peak that overlooks town. Tahquitz is a famous rock climbing area, and this image shows one of the adventurers, Andrew “Blackfoot” Glikin, signing the summit register.

Song of the Day: Rilo Kiley - Plane Crash in C
In honor of my computer crash.

A calm place to write and to think. Nice image.
