This a shot of the underside of the Toyon Bay pier. I am a little disappointed in the turnout of this shot, mostly in terms of clarity. I am frustrated by the viewfinder of the Canon 300D, especially when it comes to manual focus. In this case, the viewfinder made it nearly impossible to achieve an effective depth of field. However, the LA smog provided some nice colors, as well as a boat returning to Toyon Bay.

nice, cool colors and set up. that boat on the right looks like its from a video game, which i’d know a little something about…

Smog sure does help with the colours. And have to agree, shots at night through that viewfinder continually frustrate me.
