Pre-Breakfast Cloud

Being lost in a cloud of blacksmiths on a day with clear water remains one of my favorite freediving experiences. This isn’t so much an artistic photo (though the endlessness is well-captured), but more an image of one of my favorite underwater scenes.

This was taken at the Avalon Dive Park on Catalina… and followed by delicious breakfast in town. That makes for a great start to the day.

looks (and sounds) beautiful.. :) but i do feel queasy when surrounded by fishes bigger than a cat.. ;D

I love this shot, and I know you know why. I’m very happy I will see you, and hopefully this scene, soon.

I can only assume that you are Alan, and that you love this shot because you want to shoot a blacksmith in the face. If you are not Alan, I’m at a loss.

Well then, in that case… I am stoked to see you too, Michael! And yes, I do know why you like this scene. Though I’m thinking you’ll be focusing more in the kelp for WSB….
