Maria De Carmen

November 10th, 2008

I just got back from a ”surfing” trip to Baja. We stopped by a break known as ”Freighters”, a not-so-subtle reference to this shipwreck marooned just off the beach. The ship is the ”Maria De Carmen” (or so a few sources say), and is now just a rusty home to birds. I took a number of photos of this thing in some outstanding lighting conditions, so I will probably post a few different images… let me know which one you like best.

if it weren’t for the description, i would’ve thought that this was a monster rising out of the sea.. :D great shot.. :)
