This is what your backyard looks like right before a killer lightning storm if you live in the plains.
I was drawn to this image for the relatively unsaturated colors, but stark contrast between the sky and the field, and the striking sense of space.
Oh, wow! Talk about drama in the sky…

This photo has such great detail. It would appear that in the face of the approaching storm you stood there for quite a while getting just the right angle and I might add that you found it. I would have been ready to take cover. This photo should be on a calendar or a greeting or post card.
