I'm a Bison, not a Buffalo

Introduced in 1924 for the movie “The Vanishing American”, bison have become a beloved yet unnatural species on Catalina Island. I shot this from about 10 feet away, just as he started to raise his tail - a sign he was getting perturbed.

Geez Tulls, he looks just like you. Or your twin brother Eric….I can’t really decide….

Thank you for being clear about what type of animal this is. Some people, for example the whole state of South Dakota, have not been able to make this distinction.
