This particularly knowledgeable little girl was our unofficial spokesperson on Earth Day. She soaked up everything we taught her and then proceeded to teach everyone else - in this case, my boss Jeff, who pretended as though he were terrified of a sea star. She explained to him very calmly that it was, in fact, not dangerous and safe to touch. He disagreed and she said, “Here, give me your hand and close your eyes. I’ll put your hand on it.” This is the moment.
The magic of CIMI at its best, captured wonderfully in this photograph. Nice bit of acting on Jeff’s part, but his smile gives him away.
