Sunrise at The Shrine, Toyon Bay, Catalina Island. That behemoth on the left horizon is a cruise ship lurking a few miles off the coast of Avalon. It’s pretty heinous how ugly and huge those things are. Not to mention awful for the environment. Check out the stats. Gross. But this was a beautiful sunrise!

This is gorgeous, Tully. It almost makes it seem worth it to get up early enough to see it :)

Very interesting link! And there seems to be more and more of them around, some kind of resurgence in them. More oldies in the world with cash. In any case, I do agree, beautiful sunrise!
