Colorado Storm Clouds

Justin Gallagher

August 8th, 2007

A storm rolling in over the mountains. This was taken off the side of interstate 70 somewhere east of Vail.

I like richness of this image. The formation of cloud is so dynamic and the portrait framing enhances this coverage without making too small for those other interesting point in the foreground. I really like how you frame this landscape and balanced out every aspects. Great work and so you got my vote at photoblog award entry. Good luck.

Really interesting palette here, and a nice combination of gentle diagonals within a beautiful landscape.
