Christmas in New York

Some more experimentation with textures and pieces of paper, only this time in color. The original image, before I went a little overboard in photoshop, was taken on the Upper West Side of New York. Walking around last Sunday, I found myself in the middle of this year’s Santa March. There were a few hundred Santa Clauses of varying sizes and styles walking from Lincoln Center to Central Park.

that would be a great postcard

justin, this is fun. i went into a bar the other day and found the entire bar filled with salvation army santas hunched over their drinks. and i found out as the night progessed, santa can be a girl-i watched one of them go to the little girl’s room. wish i’d had one of you there to take a picture. happy holidays!
