Western Gull and Pigeon, Long Beach, CA.
Although very ordinary in most respects, this is actually one of my favorite photos. I love the expression on the gull’s face and the contrast between the white gull and the black pigeon. In addition, I also really like how the ripples on the water frame the pigeon.
Of course, I’ve shown this photo to a number of people who think it’s garbage.
