I left the sunny shores of Catalina Island yesterday, trading in the surf and mid-70s temperatures for the snow and below-freezing temperatures of Telluride, CO. Don’t mistake that statement for complaining, though - if I weren’t on the ocean every day, I’d want to be in the mountains instead. Let the snowboarding begin!
One personal note: some of my best friends left Catalina for good yesterday. To Caitlin, Kimi, Rachel, Dai Mar, Ben and Dan - best of luck in all your upcoming adventures. You will be missed, and I can’t wait to have you guys come back to visit as soon as you can.

i love this. haha, the scale is amazing. could be a giant palmtree with that shadow. excellent job, i hope to get some of your shots framed, and this will be one of them.
